#Free BiQ: Service Update

First, I want to thank all my beta users and new subscribers for their patience as I continue to work out the kinks here at Biotech iQ. This service represents thousands of hours of work, and with any luck, will represent thousands more in the days to come. I have two updates to share this morning:

1. After careful evaluation, Discord and Google Spaces are the two finalists for hosting the Biotech iQ Live Chat Server. Discord is free, while Google Spaces comes with a monthly cost--which, if implemented, will be covered by Biotech iQ and will have no impact on subscription rates. Discord would require subscribers to set up a Discord account, and Google Spaces would require subscribers to have (or set up) a Gmail account.
   
   Even though there is an additional cost involved, I am leaning towards Google Spaces. The chat interface is better and easier to use. One important factor is that Google Spaces has in-line threads, which are far superior to how Discord handles threaded conversations. I think this feature might help conversations flow more naturally and with less friction. I continue to test both platforms and will keep subscribers updated on my progress.
   
2. After considering recent subscriber feedback, I am also considering making a change to the iQ Cheat Sheets. While I think the iQ Report Card at the top of the report does a good job of highlighting a company's strengths and weaknesses, some subscribers have suggested that a written explanation or elucidation of the story would be helpful. I think this makes sense, and I will consider how to implement this suggestion in the iQ Cheat Sheets.

I plan to implement many other features here at Biotech iQ, though time is always the limiting factor. Again, I thank everyone for their patience and encourage subscribers to email me at support@biotechiq.net with suggestions or feedback.
