Getting Started with Biotech iQ
Welcome to Biotech iQ! With over two decades of biotech investing experience, I launched BiQ to help investors identify promising biotech investing opportunities with the potential to generate long-term alpha. My focus at BiQ is on long-term value creation, not active trading.
By signing up for a free or paid subscription, you will receive my newsletters and updates directly to your inbox. However, Biotech iQ is much more than a newsletter service. I encourage you to explore this site and discover what it offers. Below are some suggestions on the best way to begin exploring BiQ. Click on the section heading to display its contents.
Free and Paid Subscribers Start Here.
- Check out the About Biotech iQ page to learn about Biotech iQ and what this site offers.
- Take a look at Biotech iQ's Past & Current Performance by clicking on Resources in the menu bar and selecting Performance.
- Read the article Anatomy of an iQ Cheat Sheet to better understand my iQ Cheat Sheets and how they can be used to analyze biotech companies across 10 critical performance categories.
- Go to the Sample Cheat Sheet page under the Free menu to view a sample iQ Cheat Sheet.
- Click Resources on the menu bar to see a list of tools and resources available to free and paid subscribers.
- Try clicking the magnifying glass icon on the right side of the menu bar. Entering any text in the box will retrieve all articles that include the search term. For example, you can enter a ticker symbol to retrieve all articles that mention the ticker.
- If you are a free subscriber, click on Articles under the Free menu in the menu bar to view a list of free articles available to all subscribers regardless of subscription status.

Biotech iQ has a lot to offer as part of your paid subscription. Here are some ideas on where to start.
- Click on Coverage List & Cheat Sheets under the Premium menu to see the Biotech iQ Coverage List, Ratings Card, and to access iQ Cheat Sheets for each company covered under your subscription.
- Explore the Biotech iQ Catalysts & Events page by clicking on Catalysts & Events under the Premium menu to view upcoming company catalysts and events. This tool is only available to Premium Members; however, Starter Members can see a sample page by clicking here.
- Click on Premium in the menu bar to see a list of tools and articles available to Premium Members.
